The mission of Kazgas is to provide training of highly qualified specialists, to enable students to get education at all levels, to prepare highly intelligent individuals with a broad Outlook who can find their place in society, in a rapidly changing world. Kazgas strives to give students not only deep knowledge, but also instills in them a sense of civic responsibility, patriotism and internationalism. This corresponds to the state policy of stability and mutual understanding between people of all nationalities, cultures and faiths.
One of the goals of the Academy's educational policy is to educate students to understand the laws of development of society and nature, the formation of such personal qualities as honesty, decency, respect for elders, goodwill and sociability. This is facilitated by both educational programs and the involvement of students in extracurricular, scientific, social, cultural and sports activities through student organizations, clubs and centers. Mentoring of teachers (the Institute of advisors), patronage of older students over younger ones plays an important role.
Kazgas strives to unify educational programs in accordance with the accepted standards of leading universities in the near and far abroad. A credit system of education has been introduced, which allows students to integrate into the world educational space, continue their education abroad, and promotes the recognition of diplomas of Academy graduates around the world. In the same direction, Kazgas is actively developing its international relations.
The Academy provides equal opportunities for education to both citizens of Kazakhstan and foreign citizens, teaching in their native language to representatives of the foreign Kazakh Diaspora, accepted for study on the basis of intergovernmental and inter-University agreements and agreements
