26% did not pass UNT in 2018

This year the students passed the Unified national testing (trial) a little more than 130 000 times, of which the pass mark scored 99 thousand tests.

UNT in 2018 will be like in 2017: divided into two phases. Pupils 11-x classes from the beginning of the year began to prepare for it. However, the knowledge of many students is not enough to set the threshold points. 26% of pupils not gaining a passing grade in 50 responses.

'For the 2017-2018 academic years of the trial UNT handed over 130 times 096, 096 99 scored a passing number of points. In almost all cities of Kazakhstan the number of students who received a passing score is 75%.

The Ministry of education noted that in 2016 the average score was 81. In 2018 took part in the trial testing of the order of 100 thousand students, which is 70% of the total.

The Ministry also explained the wrong interpretation in the implementation of per capita financing in secondary education. There were reports that this year there will be free seats in private schools under the state order. 'Per capita financing does not take away the rights of private schools to set their own financial requirements, and the state does not guarantee the appearance in them of free places. Undoubtedly, the introduction of per capita financing will reduce the cost of education in private schools and will create in the future free places in these schools, but only if their will be a lot and, like the program 'Balapan', the market will be filled with offers. We doubt that this will happen this year' - said the Ministry.
