Education abroad - what and how?

From 2015 to 2016 academic years, the United States went to training a little less than 2,000 students from Kazakhstan

American universities offer grants to international students. However, the meaning of the word 'grant' is a little different from how we are accustomed to understand it in Kazakhstan.

Universities in the United States offer free tuition to students from abroad. However, free training a little bit different than we know it in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In our country the word 'grant' is a training for which you do not have to pay and, thus, it is possible to get a scholarship, which will allow you to pay for hostel and food. In America, the grants are of several types. The first is a grant covering all the costs: tuition, housing and food, and the second only for training all other expenses are borne by the student, and the third is only partial tuition. Free training is given to the students only for one year and is renewable only with the excellent performance of GPA. If the GPA is too low, the grant is not available.

There is also the so-called 'exchange' students. Every year five of our students move to the United States, to exchange experiences and learning, and five American students to us. Also, there is support and a variety of experts of Kazakhstan - annually five or six specialists travel to States for the exchange of knowledge and experience, and we hope that in the future they will bring something new to a domestic science.
