The head of education Department of Almaty Gulnar Hojaberdiev noted that the teachers have no reason to collect the money for repairs or any purchase.

'The main task of teachers – the training and education of children. One gets the impression that some people forget that working in the public sector. And all that belongs to the state organizations of education is the property of the state, and thus taxpayers' – said Gulnar Hojaberdiev.

For preventing the collection of money the Department of education annually sends a letter to 'banning the collection of money in schools', in which responsibility for the execution of orders is entrusted to the first heads of educational institutions of the city. Only in 2018 was sacked seven principals.
