'The easing of regulations on the level of knowledge of the German and French languages due to the need to expand the access of applicants to participate in the contest for awarding scholarship 'Bolashak'. The changes do not involve additional financial costs on training and are eligible to participate in the competition to a greater number of applicants', – explained the authors of the draft order.
According to the document, to study in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in English and German instead of a certificate of Goethe-Institute level A2 in German language (ability to hold a conversation), it is enough to confirm the level A1 (beginner level, understanding of simple everyday phrases).
To teach in France and Switzerland, regardless of the chosen specialty requirements for knowledge of French is also reduced to elementary (test for language proficiency TCF is sufficient to obtain threshold of 100 points and level DELF A1).
The changes relate to requirements for applicants for training in Korea (instead of a second level TOPIK enough first initial) and in Japan (in the exam 'Nihongo proficiency test' should confirm the fifth level instead of third).
Requirements knowledge of state and English languages don't change.
