The humanitarian and technical Institute "Akmeshit" has found its place in the country as one of the higher educational institutions in the field of education. The Institute was founded in 1998 as the Kyzylorda engineering and economic Institute. The educational process was organized by departments of the faculty of "Engineering and business" such as "Mathematics and information technology", "Economics and management", "General engineering disciplines" and the Department of "Social disciplines". In 2009, the Institute was renamed and registered as the humanitarian and technical Institute "Akmeshit".
