The financial police Academy was founded in 1999 and trains specialists with higher education for customs and financial services. The Academy has a faculty of full-time education and master's degree, faculties of retraining and advanced training, seven departments and a General special library, which includes 10 departments and various services. A distinctive feature of the Academy is the predominance of legal and economic disciplines. Students carefully study investigative and economic courses, undergo military training, organize work in the field of criminal activity, and much more.

The academic building of the Academy covers an area of 8 km.
