In 1944, the decision of Council of deputies of Akmola region opened a school 'teachers College of the city Tselinograd'. In 1997, the College was named 'Humanitarian College of Astana' by order of the Ministry of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and began to carry out the state activities on the basis of the license 63531901 from 25 December 2001.
