Kazakh national Conservatory named after Kurmangazy

For more than seventy years of Kazakh national Conservatory named after Kurmangazy provides educational services in the field of professional training of musicians. Today the Kazakh national Conservatory named after Kurmangazy is the leading musical institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We have many creative groups. For example, the Symphony orchestra of Kazakh national Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, which appeared a few years after the organization of the Conservatory annually goes on tour by the regions of Kazakhstan. Since 2005, its touring map has expanded, he began to travel to the United States and visited such cities as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Montecatini and Kassel.             Student orchestra was created in the 1970-ies. Over the years, the orchestra has evolved in different ways, it was headed by various prominent conductors, now Director of the orchestra is Igor Shubin. Student's mixed choir was established in 1944 under the direction of the first outstanding conductor, pedagogue and public figure who founded the arts of Kazakhstan Lebedev B. V. the choir Itself is actively involved in the presentations, toured the cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.

A Quartet of trombonists actively promotes a style of jazz music. In 2000 he performed in the United States, participated in the festival 'North sea' in the Hague, and gave concerts together with the state symphonic orchestra in Taiwan. The Quartet regularly gives concerts in the halls of Almaty.

The Kazakh folk instruments orchestra is one of the best musical groups of the Conservatory. The team continues to evolve and develop not only the traditions of the Kazakh people, but also personal potential. For many years the leader of the group was Professor, honored worker aitkali Zaimov. In recent years the orchestra has made over a dozen tours in cities of Kazakhstan, China, Turkey and the Russian Federation.
