Welcome to Semey State Medical University, one of the largest higher medical educational institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has its own University hospital, as well as branches in the cities of Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorsk. Semey state Medical University (Semey state medical University) was founded on September 1, 1953 with the opening of the medical faculty, where the first 320 students were enrolled. In total, over the years of its existence, graduates of the University have successfully worked throughout Kazakhstan, the near and far abroad.Semey state Medical University has a rich historical tradition, huge potential and authoritative scientific schools. For 65 years, we have been contributing to the development of medicine and maintaining the health of Kazakhstan. We train highly qualified specialists, improve diagnostic and treatment methods, and develop new technologies.

We have an excellent material base and qualified teachers. The educational institution has many classrooms for studying specialties, fully computerized classrooms. We train specialists for small and medium-sized businesses, have a perpetual license and teach students in two languages: Kazakh and Russian.
