Kazakh National Technical University.

The history of the University begins in 1934, when it was opened the first in Kazakhstan mining and metallurgical Institute. At that time there arose a great need for technical specialists who will be able to extract and process non-ferrous metals in Kazakhstan. The Institute had two faculties: mining and non-ferrous metals in the city of Alma-ATA.

In 1960, the Institute was renamed into the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute, and in 1994 the Institute received its final name of the Kazakh national Technical University.

The development of the University is not only training and graduation of highly qualified personnel, but also the technical progress of the whole country in General. For special merits in teaching, the University was awarded special status and the name of the outstanding scientist Kanysh Satpayev. Success in the technical part, Kazakhstan brought in sixty-five different studies and six topographic and landscape works implemented in the development of new fields, creation of projects of factories and workshops. The most important discoveries in the field of the mining industry was the opening of the Balkhash copper smelter, Leninogorsk and Chimkent lead factories, Irtysh plant and enterprise GlavSetService of the interior Ministry of the Soviet Union).

For all time of existence of technical University has produced more than 90 thousand highly qualified specialists in the most demanded professions such as industry and economy. Among the graduates of our higher educational institutions there are six people that make us proud of our University. The UNIVERSITY has become a supplier of personnel, not only for technical but also for political of the country.

Today KazNTU — is an amazing, independent and unique educational center that includes 11 private institutions, such as Institute of metallurgy and Polygraphy, Institute of information technologies, Institute of engineering, Institute of Economics and Business, and many others. In 2008, he embarked on the study of the science and research works, exactly, was completed more than 150 studies in the same year, totaling more than 500 million tenge. In 2017, the University is about 15 thousand students, under the guidance of 1100 teachers, including foreign PhDs and associate professors. The system of learning takes place on three levels: Bachelor — Master — PhD.

            A breakthrough in education was the creation of the Kazakh-Korean centre of information and communication technologies, which is the process of creating new, innovative infrastructure for the exchange of advanced technology and for training highly qualified specialists in the field of intelligent technology.

Material-technical base of each Institute and each Department is very different, depending on the study areas. For example, the Department of technology and technology of drilling of wells is located on the seventh and eighth floor of the oil casing and occupies 300 square meters. There are several computer labs, many samples of rock-destructive tools and various components of the drill string, measuring instruments, drill process and many other tools for drilling wells.

The Department of Automation and control has two laboratories, which help students to pass the subjects of computer modeling and program-technical means of automation. All classrooms all institutions are equipped with the most advanced technique, which includes a set of advanced tools for extraction and analysis of minerals, computers, Internet access and interactive whiteboards.

Institute of Geology and oil and gas business name named after K. turysova established in April 2003, is now preparing specialists on the basis of seven full-fledged departments. In the building of the Institute has a unique historical Museum, the mineralogical centre for the study of elements on the laboratory level. The educational process at the Institute is the study and organization of research works, where anyone can participate in the funded project. The Institute cooperates with foreign Universities, exchange students and sends students for overseas practice.

Institute of engineering of high technologies was founded in 2016, and has 4 departments, administrative management of the Institute is the academic Council, which consists of the Institute Director, Deputy Director and doctors of Sciences.

Institute of architecture and construction named after T. after Bassenov was founded 60 years ago, and had only one faculty 'Industrial and civil construction', over the years of its existence it produced more than 12000 students, including outstanding engineers, the builders, which became the policies of our Republic. Leading Professor of Kuspangaliev, Vice-rector of this institution, for twenty-three years of his work he wrote more than eighty scientific articles. The mission of the Institute is to train high-tech personnel for architectural and construction firms of modern labour market.

The objectives of all our institutions is to assist in the training of students, based on personal experience of teachers, consultation and support with all necessary in the training of each person.

For the students of our University has a dormitory for 4,000 people, the hostel has everything you need — washing machine, kitchen, restrooms, showers, televisions, Lounges, dining rooms and sports hall. All this is available to students at a price of 18 500 KZT per year.
