Kazakh national University named after al-Farabi

The school was opened in 1934, there were twenty-five teachers were trained and a total of fifty students. During the development of the University it was developed an activity Mahatara Auezov, writer, Bulatov and many other famous scientists and teachers of the time. After the first Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Institute named after Kirov was renamed to the University with the new assigned name of the great Kazakh scholar and lexicographer, philosopher of the East Abu Nasir al-Farabi.

We have a sports camp near lake Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyz Republic. The camp has a large building with 361 rooms. The University has a student Association which creates the conditions for scientific activities and to attract students to research organizations and projects.            The volunteer movement 'Help' founded in 2010, is designed to help socially vulnerable group of the population of our city. Students help orphanages and homes for the elderly. They are caring for children or elderly people, skrashivaya their leisure time, helping with cooking and many others. The purpose of this group is to improve the patriotism of the people, to cultivate leadership qualities in our children.

In order to improve the employment was organized by the employers Council. It includes many large and small firms.
