Almaty University of Management was established in 1988. in 1995, the creation of the Kazakhstan MBA program began, due to the fact that 15 teachers left for advanced training courses in Europe. The first set of applicants took place in 1996 for the specialty "Corporate management", in the same year the Academy received the "Torch of Birmingham"award. The total area of the academic buildings is 9 km square, there is Parking for 250 cars, and a sports complex is 1 km away. Restaurant, canteen, cafe and pizzeria, 89 classrooms fully equipped with interactive equipment and projectors. The University has offices in Astana, Atyrau, and Shymkent.
