Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute named after Y. Altynsarin

The creation of the Arkalyk state pedagogical Institute named after Altynsarin took place in 1972, when the Institute was named after the great Kazakh educator. The first physics and mathematics departments were opened in our Institute in 1972. Thanks to the newest faculties at that time, there was an invaluable formation of the material base and educational and library Fund of the Institute. In 1979, the faculty of graphics and art was opened, then the faculty of biology and chemistry, and in 1989 the music and pedagogical Department. Already in 1992, the number of students at the Institute reached 2500, and the teaching staff was 210 people.

We have an excellent material base and qualified teachers. The educational institution has many classrooms for studying specialties, fully computerized classrooms. We train specialists for small and medium-sized businesses, have a perpetual license and teach students in two languages: Kazakh and Russian.
